I had two interviews this week. One at Inside the Outdoors and one at Applied Medical. AND I have submitted my application for Ranger I/II for OC Parks. This afternoon while I was checking the western bluebird nesting box at Monte Vista park, a dad asked me if the bluebirds were nesting. Nope, not yet. Turns out, I know him well sorta. He's a Ranger and works with Ron Slimm AND last weekend while I was listening to the Fire Scanner and the technical rescue in Black Star, HE was the Ranger the Fire guys kept referring to! His boys were flying a really cool car plane. It could fold its wings to its sides and then look like a car! Anyway the boys wanted dad to pay attention to them and it was getting dark, so we said goodbye. COOL CAR PLANE !!!
I got to use Gillian's woodpecker cavity for me 5 minute presentation at ITO. I love that thing. Incredible that an entire family of woodpeckers (mamma & her chicks) can fit in there but, it's at least as big as a bluebird nesting box.
I walked to my interview at Applied Medical. Just a little over a mile. I don't know really how it went. I never feel that the interviews are "tanked" but, when I have to type... I can't. TOO SLOW. There's more to life than typing. That really shouldn't matter.
We bought a cable camera last year. You know - made to inspect pipes n' stuff? Well, we use it for bluebird nesting boxes. And a few days ago, I realized we SHOULD have used it on a Geocache! GC5AZ88_the-grunion-are-running Maybe tomorrow, we can go back to that area and grab a few of the others that are near AND use the cable.
From Aliso Viejo Cars N Coffee a few months back. It's my daughter's favorite car there. Only there sometimes. The driver let her SIT in it!
I spelled my name: "C-H-E-R-I" and this is what the result is. REALLY? So, from then on unless I do a MOBLE order, I tell them my name is FRED.
Til next time, which hopefully will be soon....
