Munzee is celebrating its 6th Birthday. Special "bouncing" icons are landing on Greenies (standard Munzees), stay there for 6 hours or until someone captures them. SO excited that THIS time, you can actually capture them on your OWN Munzee! Around me, that is pretty much all there is. Three other players who aren't too active and one of them actually loves out of the area. This leaves ME to deploy Munzees and nothing new for me to capture.
Right now, I ONLY drive if I absolutely, positively have to. So, I am rather limited to my range of capping of Munzees.
Anyway, I have been able to capture three complete set of the 6th Birthday Munzee and its three scatters. When the main "Bouncey" is capped, it generates three additional "bounceyies". This time there is BAM! BANG! and POW! (yup for cartoons). I am pretty stoked about that. At first, I doubted any would bounce down my way as on the first day, they seemed to all stay North in Fullerton, Anaheim and Yorba Linda where there is an active community of Munzers.
This morning a 6th Birthday landed on a friend's Munzee (the one who doesn't live here). It was deployed three years ago and I knew time and weather had gotten it. I messaged him for help. But, unlike me, he has a job and can't just BOUNCE out to get Munzees. (Or to stop work to look up what I needed and message me back).
I put out a new Munzee on the way to confirm what I suspected. Converted that Munzee into a DIAMOND Gem. COME AND GET IT! You see, this month Clan Wars requires Diamond DEPLOY and CAPTURE. I have five to deploy. I have been saving them. I will have to plan a trip with friends to get to a place that is supposed to have gems to capture because there are NONE around here.
